Manchester United have been struggling for goals this season under Louis van Gaal, with the club having an average of just over one goal per outing. The Iron Tulip could be trying to address that situation this January, with the Daily Mirror saying United could move for Romelu Lukaku.
The Mirror say that United could be about to make a £40million move for the Belgian hit-man, who is currently the in-form striker in the country at the moment.
Lukaku, 22, seems like he has been around for ages but still has plenty of developing to do. He already has the accolade for the youngest striker to score fifty goals in England’s premier division, and he doesn’t look like letting up anytime soon.
He’d be the ideal striker to sign. He has pace, power, the ability to finish with both feet as well as an excellent mentality to bring his teammates into play – which is obviously an added bonus.
