Manchester United Football Club could well be in the market for a new manager in the not too distant future, with the name on everyone’s lips being the former Chelsea man, Jose Mourinho. If United do want ‘the Special One’, they’ll have to act quick as Real Madrid are sniffing around.
According to The Times, Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez has offered Jose Mourinho a long-term contract to once again take over the reigns at the Santiago Bernabeu.
It has been reported that the Portuguese international doesn’t want a break from football and wants to go straight back into management, so if Manchester United don’t act quick they could well miss out on one of the best managers in the game.
The biggest concern is that if Mourinho does move to Real Madrid, United will be left with no other option than Ryan Giggs which is obviously a huge concern as he is untested.
