Manchester United will certainly face some extremely stiff competition if they want to sign Fulham wonderkid, Ryan Sessegnon.
According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester City has joined the Red Devils, along with Tottenham Hotspur, in the hunt to sign the brilliantly talented 17-year-old who is capable of playing anywhere down the left-hand side.
Furthermore, European powerhouses Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have been keeping tabs on Sessegnon, who has scored thirteen goals for a Fulham side who are shooting up the Championship table recently.
The young man is supremely gifted, and being a left-back predominantly, I can see this interest being genuine. Ashley Young has played well there recently, and I do absolutely love Luke Shaw, but for whatever reason, Jose Mourinho seemingly doesn’t fully trust either.
Sessegnon is young, talented with the world at his feet. This lad could genuinely grow into one of the most gifted players in the Premier League, but it’ll take time for him to develop.
Then you have to consider Fulham themselves. Obviously, they’ll be keen on keeping ahold of Sessegnon and the Cottagers will only let him go for a colossal transfer fee. He certainly won’t come cheap…
