Well, there you have it. Another three points away from home are in the bag as Manchester United continue to perform much better away from Old Trafford. The game was effectively won when Seb Larsson saw red for a high-footed tackle on Ander Herrera.
A lot of pressure would have been on Luke Shaw’s shoulders this afternoon, as he was handed his first start after being publicly berated by Jose Mourinho. To be fair to the young man, i thought he coped excellently until he was subbed off on the hour mark with an apparent injury.
He moved forward wherever possible, then tended to play the right pass more often than not. That was evident as he picked up an assist for Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s goal which killed the game off.
Sadly, just on the hour mark he had to be subbed off after a collision with an opponent, and I hope it wasn’t anything serious because he really was excellent to watch today.
It looks as though Red Devils fans certainly felt that way, too, judging by their tweets on social media anyway. Hopefully, this is just the start for him and he can now push on from now until the end of the season.

Shaw doing very well, aside from his silly booking.

Gutted for Shaw. Jose looks very happy with him though. Hope he's alright.
