Manchester United are seemingly closing in on the signature of one of the best midfielders on the planet in Paul Pogba. Yesterday, reports claimed that the Frenchman will move to Old Trafford this week, and now, an Italian journalist has given us an exact day.
Paolo Bargigga, who works for Italian media outlet Sportsmediaset, reckons United’s move to bring Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford will be completed this coming Wednesday.
He goes on to add that the deal will be worth the reported €120million – making it a world record transfer fee.
What a colossal statement of intent this would be by Jose Mourinho, if he can pull off this sort of deal without Champions League football on offer, it goes to show just how much power he has in the game.
Not many players can almost single-handedly transform a team, but Paul Pogba is one of the very few. The Juventus man is nothing short of outstanding in terms of both the attacking and defensive side of the ball, and alongside Ander Herrera, it could be a deadly duo.
