Manchester United’s torrid week has come to an end, and now attentions turn to the EFL Cup. One man who played in all three defeats over the last nine days was Paul Pogba, and the Frenchman just hasn’t been anywhere near good enough for Mourinho’s men.
His time at Old Trafford was pretty much summed up in the 3-1 defeat to Watford on Sunday, when the 23-year-old just wasn’t anywhere near good enough for the ninety minutes on the field.
The £89million man didn’t offer anything in attack, and going backwards his positioning was truly awful. I’ve no doubt that Paul Pogba will get it right eventually, he’s just too good not to succeed wherever he goes. Although it may take time.
Many reds were keen to leap to the defence of the former Juventus midfielder, but some didn’t hold back in their criticism of the Frenchman who simply needs to improve, and quickly.

I think he'll be fine in time, but Paul Pogba's price tag looks REALLY bad right now.

If Rooney was playing as bad as Paul Pogba is right now, he'd be getting absolute pelters on here.
