Manchester United has always been a hotbed of young talent, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doing his utmost to return this great club back to its former glories.
Signing young players has been his mantra, and although Daniel James was a relative unknown before today, the Wales international has made the perfect impression amongst the fans.
Within one minute, James had already put in two great deliveries into the box, using his pace to create the space and crossing the ball in excellently. This is something that this current United team haven’t been used to, and you can already see James’ attacking intent on full display.

I know it’s only 45 minutes of football and I know it’s only Perth Glory, but the early signs are positive and surely we’d much prefer to see that than the 21-year-old struggling to make an impact?
After returning to training early and topping all the sprint drills while matching out the bleep tests, perhaps we should have seen this coming, but its’ definitely an encouraging start from a talented young man who we’d love to see more of before the season’s start!
