Manchester United Football Club were absolutely torn apart this afternoon, in a hugely disappointing game away at Stamford Bridge. In the end, the score finished up 4-0, and Jose Mourinho’s men put in a performance that was nothing short of woeful.
The match was just a comedy of errors for Manchester United, particularly the defence as Chris Smalling was arguably culpable for every goal conceded – ending a horrific afternoon for him.
It was so unlike a Mourinho team. They are normally defence first and 100% solid, but this afternoon that wasn’t the case and it certainly raises question marks going forward. It felt like we didn’t really have a game plan throughout the match, and it really wasn’t a fun ninety minutes of football for us Manchester United fans.
With City on the horizon as well, concerns are obviously raised. We’ll have to hope our players are working hard on the training pitch and can do something to turn this round, and quickly…
