Manchester United’s season has been summed up by the countless amounts of points dropped at Old Trafford. That continued again today, with Jose Mourinho’s Red Devils conceding late on to draw 1-1 with a resilient Swansea City side.
Marcus Rashford started that game as the main striker, and he began brightly as he made some intelligent runs. The frustration grew and grew as his teammates had countless opportunities to play him in but rarely did they spot the 19-year-old.
Our moment of the match came from Rashford as you’d expect, as he got in behind the Swansea defence, before colliding with Fabianski in goal and the referee immediately pointed to the spot. Video replay then went on to show that there was minimal contact on the young man, and if we’re being honest, it did look like a dive…
That didn’t stop the forward from Wythenshawe though, who was probably our best player purely down to the energy and work rate he displayed throughout. He’s a fan favourite and the crowd absolutely love what he does. Rashford gets things going with his pace and sheer ability, but the dive did somewhat tarnish his afternoon according to some reds…

Feel sorry for Rashford the amount of times he was screaming to be played in while his team mates went for the easy option was a joke

One step forward, two back at times.
Rashford worked his nuts off again, and not one player looked to play the early ball quick enough.

Dive or not you can see the threat of Rashford when he actually gets a good ball into him

Also, that dive from Rashford wasn't great. We'd be absolutely laying into someone if they did that against us. Has to iron it out.
