Manchester United Football Club came away from Stamford Bridge with just the one point this afternoon, despite being on top for the majority of the game. Jesse Lingard opened the scoring with an outstanding finish midway through the second half, and was rightfully praised for the skill.
The 23-year old has turned into one of Manchester United’s most important attacking players over recent weeks, scoring the opener against Stoke City before continuing that impressive run here.
Its always brilliant to see a youth academy product perform well in the first team, and its testament to him that he is managing to keep the likes of Memphis Depay, Ander Herrera and Adnan Januzaj out of the side.
