Well, there you have it. Jose Mourinho became the first Manchester United manager to win a major trophy in his first major season as boss, and what a way to win it. The Red Devils were below par for the most part, but somehow, we came out and top in the end.
As United fans, we owe an awful lot to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The influential Swede was probably the only player who performed anywhere near to his capabilities today, and my, he more than deserved the Man of the Match award.
He opened the scoring with a wonderful free-kick that set the Red Devils on their way, and when the game was approaching it’s close, he scored the winner with a wonderful header.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is just a born winner, and we’re extremely lucky to have him. Seriously, he deserves massive credit at thirty-five to be performing the way he is. Many doubted he’d reach double figures for the season, and he already has twenty-six goals to his name which is huge.
As you’d imagine, the Old Trafford faithful were absolutely buzzing over social media about their new talisman, so have a look at some of the great tweets below.

It's a shame it took Ibrahimovic so long to arrive at Old Trafford; man was born to score goals and win trophies for Manchester United #MUFC
