This evening, Manchester United dropped more points at home to a so-called ‘lesser’ side. Jose Mourinho’s men drew 0-0 with Hull City, and the performance as a whole was just an absolute mess. You have to say that the Red Devils just didn’t deserve anything else.
On the night, the game was lost in the middle of the park, when a trio of Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba couldn’t get a foot-hold in the game, and were bullied by Tom Huddlestone and company.
Let’s talk about the most expensive footballer in the world in Paul Pogba, and the 23-year-old’s performance as a whole just wasn’t good enough. These are the types of games that he should be grabbing by the scruff of its neck and dominating – but once again, he failed to live up to the hype.
As you’d imagine, United’s fans were out in full force all over social media, and it’s far to say that Paul Pogba copped for an awful lot of slack; most of it deserved…
Check out the tweets aimed at United’s midfielder here:
Zlatan was rubbish, Pogba was rubbish. Subs were poor. Mata and Pogba miss sitters. Just not good enough. #munhul #MatchdayMac

Almost feel like Pogba changes his hair color to make us aware he's somewhere on the pitch and not completely absent.

Upon reflection, Pogba wasn't that bad tonight, could've had 3 assists if it wasn't for Zlatan & Rashford's wastefulness.

Really poor performance tonight, the passing was really bad. Both Pogba and Mkhitaryan were below par. No pace up top #MUFC

Pogba, Micki & Ibra very poor, but Mourinho's subs did more damage. Should have buried Hull tonight but we were absolutely toothless.
