Manchester United struggled to a 0-0 draw at home to PSV Eindhoven last night, which now makes it extremely difficult for Louis van Gaal’s men to qualify for the knockout rounds. To do so, a win away at current group leaders Wolfsburg is a must.
As a whole, the performance wasn’t anywhere near good enough, with the team looking extremely static – particularly in the second half.
It seemed as though any real urgency and desire to go forward and attack wasn’t really there, and that clearly stems from the manager. As we enter into the hectic winter schedule, we simply have to improve if we’re to mount a serious title challenge this season.
