Manchester United Football Club will be represented in the World Cup final. Paul Pogba’s France put in an excellent, hard-working team effort to beat Belgium 1-0.
The Red Devils #6 was outstanding once again, pulling the strings from deep, while also helping keep Marouane Fellaini quiet at the other end.
As the game wore on, Pogba created a couple of opportunities that could have killed the fixture completely, but unfortunately, his teammates couldn’t hit the back of the net.
It just seems as though the £89million man is going from strength-to-strength as the tournament goes on, and at this point, I certainly fear for either England or Croatia; one of whom will have to face his wrath.
The burning question is whether he can repeat the feat for United over the next twelve months. No doubt these displays would have certainly been a massive confidence-booster for the midfield maestro, and he has quashed the doubters who have continually claimed he cannot play in a midfield two…
Anyway, as you’d expect, social media was awash with loads of happy United fans, and rightly so. Here are some of the best replies to his performance:
One of Pogba's best games ever, the Man of the Match for me. Spectacular showing. Superb all around.

My thoughts with Graeme Souness as Paul Pogba will be playing in a World Cup final. He’s had a brilliant tournament so far.

Paul Pogba has shown a real maturity and discipline to his game this World Cup. People will doubt him but he continues to do his talking on the pitch. A World Cup finalist. My midfielder. ?? #mufc pic.twitter.com/CKqQgZS9JN
