Manchester United’s injury problems during this season have been there for all to see, with the club having various concerns all over the field from time-to-time. However those problems have eased up somewhat recently, with another trio returning to the field this evening.
The clubs U21s play tonight, taking on Middlesbrough as Warren Joyce’s men look to retain the U21 Premier League crown this season, and a win here would certainly help.
Wayne Rooney, Phil Jones and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson were all included in the starting line-up, after being missing for lengthy periods of time due to ongoing injuries, and its great to have the trio back.
Phil Jones’ season has been a nightmare from minute one. He has barely played for the first-team all season, and if he isn’t careful he could well be sold this coming summer.
Wayne Rooney’s form has been hit and miss all campaign, but its great to have him back involved as on his day, we all know what he is capable of.
As for Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, he has done superbly when called upon in the first-team, and it’d be huge to have him back as an option on the left side.
