Manchester United foursome absent from Manchester United training

Manchester United have had an excellent start to the campaign, with Louis van Gaal guiding his side to the top of the table after seven weeks of competitive action thus far. Things are going to get harder though, and as you’d expect, injuries aren’t helping the situation.

According to The Mirror, Manchester United were without four key players during their latest training session this morning – Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick, Marcos Rojo and Antonio Valencia.

If these players miss the visit of Wolfsburg tomorrow it’ll certainly make the fixture much harder. Michael Carrick has been a constant in the midfield, with Antonio Valencia filling in for the injured Luke Shaw at the weekend.

Marcos Rojo hasn’t really been fully fit this season which is a huge shame, and an even bigger problem is the fact that Ander Herrera hasn’t really had the chance to play.

Hopefully none of these injuries are at all serious and we’ll welcome them back at the weekend against Arsenal.
