Manchester United get huge boost, superstar set to return to starting XI vs Brighton: report

Manchester United have been handed a massive boost before Jose Mourinho’s men get set to take on Brighton & Hove Albion this Sunday.

Star striker, Romelu Lukaku, should be fit to start the game at The Amex, according to Sky Sports News.

The Red Devils #9 was only fit enough for the bench during United’s 2-1 victory over Leicester City, following his third-placed World Cup finish with Belgium over the summer.

With no pre-season under his belt, it’s easy to see why Mourinho has been easing him back into things, but to have him back, particularly against a tight-knit, physical side such as Brighton is huge.

Lukaku was the focal point in our attack last term. He was by far and away our best attacker for the season’s duration. The scary thing is? Our 25-year-old forward is only getting better. For him, the 2018/19 campaign starts now. He’ll be just as hungry to succeed and score, while helping his team to win major honours.

Losing the FA Cup final would have hurt him more than most. With a fully fit Lukaku for the season’s duration, United could do great things. Now, it’s time for him to let his shooting-boots do the talking.
