Manchester United had scouts at Bundesliga game watching proven striker

Manchester United Football Club will have plenty of money to spend come the summer, despite not knowing who the manager for next season will be. The hierarchy’s plans will already be well underway, and that has continued with extensive scouting of a certain striker.

The latest reports claim that Manchester United have had scouts watching Borussia Dortmund’s key striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as the man from Gabon took on Werder Bremen this weekend.

Aubameyang has rapidly turned into one of the most in-demand strikers in the world over the last couple of years, with him making massive strides in terms of his all-round game out in Germany.

Borussia Dortmund will obviously want to keep hold of their star striker though, and certainly won’t let him go on the cheap. Manchester United would probably have to stump up in excess of £50million, but for a 26-year old with proven quality, it could be a risk worth taking.
