Manchester United handed double injury boost, duo back in training before Chelsea clash: report

Manchester United Football Club have been handed a double injury boost; a week before the Red Devils take on Chelsea in a huge Premier League encounter.

Jose Mourinho’s men found their feet last time out, scooping all three points in a thrilling come-from-behind victory against Newcastle United. They’re now trying to get themselves on a good run, with two new players back fit and in training.

That’s according to the Manchester Evening News, who say that both Marcos Rojo and Ander Herrera are working out once again.

Herrera has been a bit of a strange one. We’ve not really heard much about what the problem is, but to hear he is back involved is great news. Obviously, Nemanja Matic has been struggling, while we’ve barely seen anything from Fred. The more players we have available, the better, particularly when you consider just how good he was against Eden Hazard in that game at Old Trafford a year or so ago…

As for Marcos Rojo, well, he’s had no pre-season and played no competitive minutes. It’ll take him some time to get fully up to seed, but at least he has the international break to get some good training under his belt.
