Manchester United’s next opponents in the Premier League couldn’t get any tougher, as league leaders Leicester City come to town. In fact, Claudio Ranieri’s team could seal the title with a victory at Old Trafford, but their task has been made quite a bit tougher.
Jamie Vardy will now miss the game, after his ban for improper conduct has been extended by the FA, and the 29-year old who has always been a thorn in the side of Manchester United will have to watch his teammates from the stands.
This game at the weekend will have the eyes of the footballing world on it, with Manchester United still clinging on to hope of finishing in the top four, and Leicester City obviously vying for their first ever Premier League crown.
Hopefully the game can live up to the expectations, and Manchester United can grab a much-needed three points to keep their excellent momentum going as we enter the business end of the campaign.
