Manchester United handed early boost as Spurs without key star for clash: report

Manchester United Football Club have been handed an early boost, before the Red Devils gear up to take on Tottenham Hotspur in a fortnight.

That’s according to Spurs-Web, who say that their South Korean star, Heung-Min Son, has left North London to link up with his national team before the Asia Games get underway.

Son is set to miss Spurs’ next two games which is a big blow for Mauricio Pochettino, particularly after another impressive season from the forward last year.

It gives manager Jose Mourinho one less problem to worry about as he looks to prepare to get one over on the immensely talented that the aforementioned Pochettino has put together.

The game at Old Trafford will be our first major test. Spurs are a side on the up, it’ll be a good barometer to see whether we’re heading in the right direction under the self-proclaimed Special One. Hopefully, we go into that game two from two in the league and brimming with confidence, probably with Romelu Lukaku back leading the line after he’s fully recovered from his World Cup exploits.

Before that, though, all attention goes towards Brighton & Hove Albion away on Sunday afternoon.
