Manchester United handed huge boost as first-team man ready to return to training

Manchester United were dealt a major blow earlier on in the season, when Luke Shaw suffered a horrific leg break in two places in a game against PSV Eindhoven. Many thought the young man would be done for the season, but there is some good news, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The 20-year old is expected to return to first-team training within the next 7-10 days, and the former Southampton man is hopeful of playing some part in Manchester United’s season before the campaign ends in May.

Its absolutely amazing to see how fast the left-back has recovered back to this stage already after such a devastating injury, and the positivity he has shown is testament to his outstanding character.

If he can somehow get back on the pitch for even just a few seconds, that would be remarkable – and somehow he could still be in contention for a spot in Roy Hodgson’s European Championship squad.
