Manchester United are currently on a fortnight hiatus due to the international break, with Jose Mourinho given extra time to hopefully get some of his players back fit which would be a huge boost. However, before the break has even got going, United have been given another minor push forward.
According to Sky Sports News, Arsenal’s main man Alexis Sanchez is a major doubt for the clash between Manchester United and The Gunners straight after the international break.
The Chilean reportedly has a low-grade muscle tear which can be quite serious, and I’m sure Arsene Wenger is sweating on the fitness of the extremely talented Chilean.
It does help United, though, because if they are without one of their key assets. it takes some weight off the shoulders of our defence which is struggling at the moment.
They now have to plan for the probability that Olivier Giroud will lead the line instead, and although it won’t be an easy job marking him, I’d much prefer it that way.
