Manchester United handed injury boost ahead of West Ham clash

Manchester United return to Old Trafford after a couple of tricky away fixtures in the league, and next up is the high-flying Hammers, who look rejuvenated under the guidance of Bilic. However ahead of the game, a key West Ham player has been ruled out.

Diafra Sakho, their main striker will miss the game due to an injury, and when you add Dimitri Payet to that list of players missing, it makes our task much easier.

That said, Louis van Gaal has plenty of injury concerns of his own, and he’ll be hoping that at least one or two can fight through the pain barrier and play some part in the game this weekend – particularly as we enter the hectic winter schedule.

United currently sit just a point off top spot, and if they win, and both Leicester and Manchester City drop points, we could be at the summit come this time next week.
