Manchester United sit top of the Premier League table, but their toughest task is still ahead of them. A visit to the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal is on the agenda this weekend, and a win here is essential if Louis van Gaal wants to assert his dominance on the Premier League.
Their chances of doing just that have been enhanced today, as Michael Carrick has been passed fit for the clash, after missing the midweek Champions League game with a minor injury.
Carrick has been essential to any team put together over the last few seasons and he really seems to be the heartbeat of the midfield. A duo of him and Bastian Schweinsteiger would be ideal going into the game against Arsenal, and it looks as though we are likely to see that.
Hopefully United can go to North London and throw down a real marker to the rest of the Premier League.
