Manchester United have agreed £20m Toni Kroos deal

Manchester United and Bayern Munich have come to an agreement regarding the sale of Toni Kroos, according to the Daily Mail. The fee is thought to be £20m, and Toni Kroos is reportedly keen to work with Louis van Gaal again – a manager who he flourished under when Van Gaal was Bayern boss.

The deal was apparently agreed when David Moyes was still in charge, with Kroos seemingly not intent on renewing his contract in Bavaria. His current deal expries in 2015, which could explain the fairly low £20m fee for the 24-year old midfielder.

If that fee is correct, then it would be an absolute steal for a player of his calibre. He’s still got ten years left at the top level, and he’s exactly what United need; A midfielder who can stand in the middle of the park and boss the game.

I’d honestly be surprised if no other clubs come in for him with the fee being as little as that, but if he has his heart set on working with the manager who helped him breakthrough at Bayern then that’s excellent news for United fans.

The Mail also report that Louis van Gaal will go back in for Arjen Robben shortly too, but they’ll have to act quick if a deal is to happen before the World Cup.

=> I honestly think his future wage in United will be huge, so a major boost for him. If the wage of Shaw is true, it’s a big wage. So I mean, in my mind United are in a “big wage” mode.
