Manchester United have agreed everything with Ben Yedder: report

Manchester United could well be in the market to sign a new forward this season, particularly if Romelu Lukaku leaves Old Trafford…

A name that seems to be picking up pace in regards to a Red Devils switch is Wissam Ben Yedder. Yesterday, the excellent Sport Witness translated the latest from La Colina de Nervion, who are claiming that United have ‘agreed everything’ with the 28-year-old.

Furthermore, the Spanish media outlet go on to add that, ‘with almost total security’, Ben Yedder’s next destination will be England…

In terms of stats, the Frenchman scored 30 times for Sevilla last term, while also tacking on 11 assists for his teammates. The striker currently has a release clause of €40million (£35.7m).

United fans will remember Ben Yedder broke our Champions League hearts back in the 2017/18 season as he scored at Old Trafford to knock us out.

The striker is prolific, a hard-worker and a willing passer. He’d be perfect for the new-look United side Ole Gunnar Solskajer is trying to build – and he comes at a great price, too.

I guess the only real concern is that he’s probably got three years at the top left in him, and United will then have the issue of replacing Ben Yedder in the not too distant future. Personally, though, I’d much prefer to see him in the team as opposed to Lukaku, who sees his future elsewhere according to this story we covered from the usually reliable Fabrizio Romano
