Manchester United could well pull the plug on Louis van Gaal this summer, with the fans clearly unhappy with what the Iron Tulip is producing on the field at the moment. One man they are reportedly looking at is Jose Mourinho, but The Sun say it may not happen this summer.
The English media outlet suggest that United, namely Edward Woodward, don’t want to sack Louis van Gaal just yet, as it’d be admission of another huge failure on his part.
Edward Woodward hoped that Jose Mourinho would be willing to hang off for a year, but that doesn’t seem to be the case as the self-proclaimed Special One clearly wants to be back in a job this summer.
It feels as though Manchester United seem really hesitant where Jose Mourinho is involved, and you can sort of understand why. Whenever he leaves a club, it always seems to be in a huge mess and that is something that the club obviously wouldn’t really want to happen at Old Trafford.
