Manchester United have deal in place for Luke Shaw

Manchester United are now in pole position to sign the highly coveted Southampton youngster Luke Shaw. The 18-year old left-back had been touted to make the move down South and play for his boyhood club Chelsea, but reports suggest that an £80,000 a week move to United is the players preferred option.

With Patrice Evra and Ashley Cole both ageing, United and Chelsea both need a new left-back and Luke Shaw is already up there as one of the best in the country. He already has a senior cap for England, and over 50 appearances for Southampton and he isn’t even 19 yet.

The Mirror claim that a £27m fee has been agreed between the two clubs, despite Shaw attracting interest from the aforementioned Chelsea and Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid.

  1. Why would saints agree a deal now, when they can create an auction in the summer and get more money. Let’s be honest Manu is no longer a step up from the saints

    • So, 1 season in 24 out of the top 3 for United puts Soton in the same league as them? If that were true , why would Suarez join a club which has never won a premiership ?

  2. What a load of bollocks. You lot should stop smoking whatever it is you’re putting in your pipe cos your imagination has gone right out of whack. Do you really think because a fantasising and attention seeking ‘writer’ at the Daily Murmur says there’s a deal, it actually exists? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Reality check. He’s staying at Saints. And that’s a fact, cos I said so. There, see how easy it is?
