Manchester United are a side known to produce youth, but mix that in with the blend of big money signings who can make a real difference to the squad. Louis van Gaal has changed that mentality slightly, as he looks to splash this cash this coming January.
The latest report coming out of the Daily Mirror suggests that Manchester United are keen to bring in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Borussia Dortmund. The English publication go on to say that Louis van Gaal is determined to win the battle for his signature, but its set to cost the club a huge £42million.
There is absolutely no doubting that the Gabon striker would be an astute piece of business. He offers pace, power and that real finishing ability that the Dutch manager craves.
In England you’d imagine he could well turn into that regular 20-goal-a-season man, and if we could get him in the middle of the season he could well be a man who could fire us to the title.
