Manchester United haven’t given up on landing world class manager

Manchester United are looking increasingly likely to be in the market for a new manager over the summer, as Louis van Gaal’s Old Trafford career is seemingly getting worse with each passing game. One man high on the priority list is Josep Guardiola.

Despite heavy links with Manchester City, Manchester United haven’t yet given up hope on landing Pep Guardiola this summer, claim the Daily Mail.

At this point in time it is clear that City are favourites to land his signature over the summer, but whilst there is still no deal in place, it would be stupid if we didn’t enquire about his situation.

There aren’t many better managers in the world than Josep Guardiola, and his style of football in the modern era seems to be working a treat. He’d certainly bring that excitement back to Old Trafford, and there is no bigger job in England than at Manchester United.
