Manchester United hit with injury scare as forward hobbles down tunnel with problem

It seems as though the injury problems are mounting up for Manchester United once again… First, we learned that Victor Lindelof was struggling with an illness, now, it’s Marcus Rashford’s turn…

England got some sort of revenge on Croatia this afternoon, as they beat them 2-1 at Wembley Stadium to top their UEFA Nations League group, however, Rashford had to be substituted with an injury, as the Manchester Evening News report that the Wythenshawe-born-attacker headed straight down the tunnel…

Rashford has become a real key player for both club and country over the last couple of years, and with United’s attacking options already struggling, this could be another big blow for Jose Mourinho.

The self-proclaimed Special One has often put his trust in Rashford, and with a huge game against Crystal Palace just on the horizon, the manager will certainly be hoping that his #10 can pull through and get himself fit.

It just sums up our international break luck. It feels as though an international period doesn’t go by without United being hit with at least one or two problems, and you’ll be pleased to know that this is the last international break of the year, with the next not coming until March!
