Manchester United in U-turn as starlet no longer available for loan

Manchester United Football Club were widely expected to let James Wilson leave Old Trafford on loan a week or so ago, but in a dramatic u-turn it now looks as though the striker will stay put, at least for the time being anyway.

Kenny Jackett (Wolves boss) has said that his information suggests that Manchester United are keeping him ‘for the time being’.

“The information is he’s not available. Manchester Utd are keeping him for the time being.” Wolves manager Kenny Jackett said.

Whether thats just because Manchester United want Wilson to go on loan to a Premier League club rather than Wolves, or whether he genuinely isn’t available for loan remains to be seen. For now though its expected he’ll stay at Manchester United – particularly due to the injury Wayne Rooney is currently suffering from.
