Manchester United Football Club has been playing pretty well of late, with Jose Mourinho’s side really clicking at the moment. Despite that, we still sit in sixth position in the Premier League – but that should improve judging by the kind fixture list we have at the moment.
At this point in the season, the transfer window is open, and Manchester United have already sold Morgan Schneiderlin to Everton. It doesn’t look like we’ll be signing anyone this January, but that hasn’t stopped the club looking at potential options.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Manchester United have shown an interest in signing Benjamin Mendy of AS Monaco. The 22-year-old is a left-back who is showing real signs of promise this campaign, after making the move from Marseille last summer.
His talents have already been recognised by his native France too, who have handed him nine caps for their U21 side.
Mendy is a player who possesses plenty of pace and never shirks a tackle. He’s a great tackler and absolutely loves a physical battle. I personally reckon he’d be an excellent fit for the Premier League.
