The January transfer window is now open, and its notorious for being a tricky time of year to buy players in. Barring the odd exception like Patrice Evra, it hasn’t been a time where Manchester United have spent big, on first-team regulars.
Le10 Sport say that Manchester United, along with a whole host of other Premier League sides, are interested in Paris Saint-Germain’s Marquinhos.
Marquinhos, 21, is regarded as one of the best up and coming centre-halves in the game at the moment, and although he has ruled out leaving in the middle of the season, there could well be a chance to sign him over the summer.
“There are six months to win titles and try and start. Then we will see what happens.” Marquinhos said.
He’d certainly cost a pretty penny however, as PSG paid big bucks to sign him, and there is no doubt that the French side would want to gain that money back plus a little extra.
