Manchester United didn’t sign any big names in the January transfer window, with Louis van Gaal deciding to stick with the squad he has, and put his trust in our youngsters once again. However that won’t be the same this summer, and new signings will surely be made.
According to the Spanish media outlet Deportivo Valenciano, Manchester United are interested in landing Valencia CF’s German centre-back, Shkodran Mustafi.
The 23-year old has set La Liga alight with some brilliant defensive performances over the last two campaigns, which have certainly meant some of the so called bigger clubs have been keeping tabs on the young man.
Manchester United are thought to be at the front of that queue, and if Gary Neville is still in charge over the summer, that could be another potential bonus for Louis van Gaal as it might be slightly easier to deal with him, rather than someone else.
