Manchester United and Jose Mourinho will clearly be plotting what transfer targets they want to make a move for after the European Championships, and a new face has emerged on his reported wishlist. According to the latest gossip coming out of Germany, Julian Draxler is a top target.
That’s according to Bild, who say that the 22-year-old is firmly admired by Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho.
However, the self-proclaimed Special One will face stiff competition for is signature, with Juventus reportedly interested in signing him.
In terms of his style of play, Draxler is extremely versatile. He can play all across the front three, but primarily he would be deployed on the left-hand side – which is where he is playing for Germany at the moment.
Draxler wouldn’t come cheap though. He only moved to Wolfsburg last summer, and they’d demand a huge fee for him if they are persuaded into letting him leave.
