Manchester United had an extremely solid summer transfer window, bringing in the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Anthony Martial. But its clear Louis van Gaal isn’t done there as he plans for the upcoming winter window.
According to CalcioMercatoWeb, Manchester United are keeping tabs on Newcastle United’s Ayoze Perez ahead of a proposed move.
The Spaniard joined Newcastle just over a year ago and has a made a great impact for the Magpies this season – as recently as featuring heavily in the 6-2 demolition of Norwich just last weekend.
With United lacking any real depth in the attacking areas this move could make sense. Louis van Gaal likes younger attackers who are versatile and the 22-year old Perez certainly offers that.
Newcastle won’t be keen on losing one of their key figures however, meaning United would probably have to pay through the roof if they are to tempt yet another Spaniard to Old Trafford.
