Manchester United key man ruled out of West Ham game

Manchester United were dealt a major blow before kick-off at the weekend, with Louis van Gaal forced to pull Anthony Martial out of the starting line-up due to a hamstring strain. Now, it looks as though we’ll struggle to see him in the league again this season.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Anthony Martial is definitely out of United’s trip to West Ham tomorrow evening, and is also a major doubt for the game against Bournemouth on Saturday.

It is thought that Louis van Gaal is steering to the side of caution at the moment, and with the FA Cup final in mind that is probably the best thing to do.

The young man has been a huge influence this season, and he has more than justified the huge price tag that it cost to bring him into Old Trafford.

If there is one man who deserves to be on the team sheet for the Wembley showdown in a couple of weeks, its Anthony Martial. So hopefully he can get himself back fighting fit for that match against Crystal Palace.
