Manchester United left-back hoping to return from injury in six weeks

Manchester United have had horrific luck with injuries of late, particularly in the full-back area. Luke Shaw is done for the season, Rojo is out for a while after surgery, and against Liverpool, Ashley Young also picked up a problem that required him to go under the knife.

However according to the Daily Mail, the 30-year old Young is hopeful he won’t be out of action for much longer than six weeks, meaning he should return before the end of the season.

There have been reports that Louis van Gaal is looking at bringing in a left-back, because at this point in time its looking likely that Cameron NBorthwick-Jackson will be our first choice in that position until the end of the season, which is obviously a huge task for a man of his age.

Hopefully Young can get himself fit before the beginning of March, and get himself back involved in the not too distant future.
