Manchester United Football Club made a bold £6.5million move to bring Bastian Schweinsteiger to the club over the summer, with the German maestro slotting straight into the side, and looking like areal astute piece of business.
However, one of the biggest legends of the club clearly hasn’t been impressed with Basitian.
Whilst working with BT, Paul Scholes said: “Schweinsteiger has been quite disappointing for me to be honest.”
Honestly, it feels as though Paul Scholes has some sort of vendetta against Louis van Gaal, and any little jibe he can have towards the Dutchman he will do.
Its a real shame to see that, too. Scholes is, and will always be a fan favourite, but if he keeps up with silly comments like this then he’ll soon find himself with Roy Keane at the bottom of that pile…
Schweinsteiger has been an absolute revelation since joining United. He has brought that calmness back to the middle of the park, and his influence on the game is great to see.
