Manchester United Football Club secured a massive win at the Etihad on Sunday, thanks to a stunning goal from Marcus Rashford. The 18-year old just seems to be getting better and better, and that hasn’t gone unnoticed by former United hero, David Beckham.
“When a young kid that loves the club he is at and loves the game he is playing this is what you get.” Beckham began. “The excitement in Marcus’s face after scoring against our rivals is exactly what a kid his age should look like.”
“It’s refreshing and pleasing to see. Congrats to Marcus on another great day.”
The former Manchester United player had plenty of days like this himself, and he’ll know a lot about these kind of moments. Hopefully Marcus Rashford can follow in Beckham’s footsteps, and he’ll certainly have to keep his feet firmly on the ground as his stature in the game rises.
