Manchester United legend reveals who he thinks game changer was for Everton victory

Manchester United have been the masters at changing things when the current situation isn’t going their way this season, and once again that was the case today. Louis van Gaal made a half-time sub, and brought on Tim Fosu-Mensah in place of Marcos Rojo, and it changed everything.

Peter Schmeichel has had his say on those events, and he believes the young man was key to United’s hard-fought win.

“The first half wasn’t great. Fosu-Mensah’s substitution made at half-time changed the game, he added more pace.” Schmeichel said.

The great Dane is right, too. Fosu-Mensah came on and changed the game dramatically in an attacking sense. The Dutchman looked a real menace down the left-hand side, and the quality of the delivery for his pass into Anthony Martial was nothing short of outstanding.

It seems as though that we have another real talent on our books at Old Trafford, and alongside the likes of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, the future certainly looks bright for Manchester United.
