Manchester United’s Louis van Gaal is slowly but surely applying his infamous philosophy on the current crop of players, and a club legend is full of praise for the Dutch maestro – telling United fans to be patient, and in five years they’ll understand the picture that Van Gaal is painting.
“There’s a bigger picture some fans can’t see yet. In 5 years they’ll understand the masterpiece LvG is painting.” Ruud Van Nistelrooy said.
At every club Van Gaal has been at, he has always departed with the club in a superb position to win silverware. His Bayern Munich side is the prime example, look at how many trophies they have won with players he has developed and brought to the club.
Van Gaal’s ability to think ahead is second-to-none in terms of current managers, and he himself has already admitted he hasn’t signed Anthony Martial for him, but for the next Manchester United manager.
