Manchester United look to confirm Pogba deal this Sunday

The saga rumbles on. Manchester United are clearly trying their utmost to bring Paul Pogba back to the club that helped develop him into the player he is today. Now, it looks like it is finally drawing to a conclusion, with Jose Mourino wanting the deal to be confirmed as soon as possible.

According to La Stampa, Manchester United and Juventus have agreed a deal which will see Pogba make the move to Old Trafford during this window, and the deal should be officially completed this weekend – probably on Sunday.

Jose wants a deal announced before his side take on Leicester City in an eagerly-anticipated Community Shield at Wembley Stadium. This would allow Pogba a full weeks worth of training with his new teammates before the Premier League season kicks off next weekend.

What a monumental signing and statement of intent this would be for Manchester United. Let’s not forget, this is a club who don’t have Champions League football on offer this season but are still able to draw in the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and now Paul Pogba.
