Manchester United were dumped out of the Champions League in spectacular fashion last night, with Louis van Gaal’s side losing 3-2 away at Wolfsburg. As you’d imagine, the players would have been mightily upset afterwards, and tensions seemingly boiled over for one individual.
Barney from Red News (who is usually extremely reliable) says that Juan Mata wasn’t happy after being substituted by the Iron Tulip, and after the game the Spaniard let he feelings known.
We all know that once a manager loses the dressing room, there is no way back for the boss. This could definitely be the start of that, with the Spanish players being so close, it could be the beginning of the end for the Iron Tulip.
However, if anyone can turn it around its him. He has completely faith in his ability as a boss, and there isn’t a manager who is more self-confident than he is.
