It’s certainly fair to say that Manchester United could be about to land their third new signing under Jose Mourinho – following the arrivals of Eric Bailly, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (although this isn’t confirmed yet).
The club made a massive error last night, when Henrikh Mkhitaryan shirts appeared to be up for sale on the official club website.

Although nothing is official at this point, it does look as though a deal for the 27-year-old Armenian is in place, and talks must be well underway if United are preparing to launch his shirts already.
This is a massive piece of news for the fans, and what a brilliant bit of business this would be by Jose Mourinho – especially as Mkhitaryan will come in so cheaply due to his contract expiring.
Let’s hope that Manchester United can get this deal wrapped up sooner rather than later, but you do feel it won’t be long before we see him holding the red shirt aloft.
