Manchester United succumbed to defeat in dismal fashion last night, as they threw away a 2-1 lead with 20 minutes to go. Louis van Gaal’s men were without the services of Timothy Fosu-Mensah, and the young man wasn’t even named on the bench.
This started rumours about whether the young man was out injured, or if it was a tactical decision by the manager to leave him out. However, the defender has taken to Twitter to confirm he was in fact injured, although the extent of the problem is not know yet.

It looks as though his injury is a leg issue judging by the second photo, but its a real shame for Timothy Fosu-Mensah himself. He had just broken into the first-team fold, was getting some regular game time and has now suffered this latest problem.
Hopefully it isn’t too serious, and although its looking likely he’ll miss United’s last Premier League game this coming Sunday, lets pray he’ll be fit for the FA Cup final in just over a weeks time.
