Manchester United announced Jose Mourinho as manager just a few days ago, and now the Portuguese man is ready to set up his backroom staff. It is thought that Mourinho did want to keep Ryan Giggs on his team but in a reduced role.
Today the Daily Telegraph write that Ryan Giggs has returned from his holiday in Dubai, ahead of showdown talks with Jose Mourinho about his long-term future this week.
Giggs, who is now 42, has spent over twenty-five years at Manchester United, and could well decide to walk out on the club where he has spent all of his professional career.
If the Welsh Wizard does choose to stay, it is unclear as to what role he would have but it is thought to be somewhere in between the U21 side and the first-team, in an effort to bridge the gap between the two.
He clearly has a massive decision to make and will need plenty of time to consider those options, so lets sit tight and see how this one pans out..
