Manchester United brought in two world class midfielders in the form of Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger over the summer, and that has meant extremely limited game time for the much-maligned Marouane Fellaini. The latest reports suggest the big Belgian could be on his way out.
According to the Italian media outlet, La Repubblica, AC Milan are interested in securing the services of Marouane Fellaini on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 28-year old has found himself on the bench for the majority this term, despite being one of the outstanding performers in Louis van Gaal’s debut season.
This has obviously led to doubts about his long-term future at Old Trafford, and although he works hard and puts in a shift, I cannot imagine too many Manchester United fans would be all that bothered if he were to leave the club.
